As your partner, the first step in our pre-production process is to take the time to hear you out; we listen deeply and explore the nuances of your organization and your people and uncover the key messages you need to make known. We draw out the who’s, the how’s and the why’s of it all to ensure we understand your objectives and determine how we can most compellingly convey that to your audience.
Together we then co-create and execute a production plan (that fits your budget) to gather all of the elements that will craft your customized piece: this may entail scriptwriting, conducting interviews, talent casting, filming in studio or on location, and building animations or motion graphics to highlight key points.

Founder and Principal of Moonshadow Media, Rachel’s extensive 20+ year tenure in multimedia production positions her as an expert liaison between clients, their audiences, and her production team. On-location or in the studio, she takes immense pride in curating compelling content while diligently safeguarding the interests of all stakeholders involved.
Her professional journey commenced after receiving an MFA in Imaging Arts from RIT and making her way to New York City, where she kick-started her career as an Associate Producer and Assistant Editor for the acclaimed documentary “Risk/Reward”, spotlighting women in Wall Street. From there, Rachel’s evolution has been comprehensive, as she now fluidly navigates the roles as a producer, director, project manager, editor and voice-over talent.
Her work spans a diverse spectrum, serving the non-profit, healthcare, corporate and education sectors with CME webcasts, marketing videos, museum exhibitions, websites, documentaries, event productions, commercials, and higher-educational series.
Beyond the delights of media production, Rachel’s vibrant spirit finds inspiration traversing nature, tending to her medicinal herb garden, practicing yoga and meditation, and being present with her daughter, loved ones and pets—realizing the life of a city-girl-turned-country.
